SYMBOLS OF SARATOV REGION

Description of The Flag: The Flag of the Saratov Region consists of two horizontal fields, white on the top and red on the bottom. The white field is twice wider. There is a two-sided Coat of Arms of the Saratov Region surrounded by a wreath formed by golden oak and laurel branches and by golden ears, bound together by a golden ribbon. The overall breadth of the Coat of Arms of the Saratov Region (with the wreath) shall make ? of the Flag length. The Flag proportion of breadth to length shall be two to three.

Coat of Arms Detail: The arms of the Saratov region is a blue shield with three silver fishes (sterlets) in reversed pall. The shield is surmounted with gold crown with blue lining.
